What is the difference between fibre laser and CO₂?
Fibre laser (1064 nm) marks metals and technical plastics. CO₂ (10,600 nm) engraves and cuts wood, acrylic, leather and organic materials. The two technologies are complementary.
Is laser marking resistant to corrosion?
On stainless steel and anodised aluminium, laser marking is as corrosion-resistant as the material itself. It creates no weakened zones.
Can gold or silver be engraved?
Yes, fibre laser engraves gold, silver and platinum with precision. Depth and contrast depend on the alloy. Contact us for a free test.
What resolution is needed for QR codes?
Our machines produce DataMatrix and QR codes readable by smartphone from a size of 8×8 mm. We validate readability before delivery.
