Does DTG work on polyester?
DTG is optimised for cotton (minimum 80% cotton recommended). On pure polyester, colours are dull and ink adheres poorly. For polyester, choose DTF instead.
Is pre-treatment required for DTG?
Yes, PTM pre-treatment is applied to the print areas (coloured fabrics). This pre-treatment is included in our pricing.
How many washes does DTG printing withstand?
With quality inks and proper pre-treatment, DTG printing withstands 30 to 50 washes at 30°C by turning the garment inside out.
Can I print a photo on a t-shirt with DTG?
Yes, that is a key strength of DTG. We accept high-resolution JPG/PNG files (minimum 150 dpi at final size).
