What is UV flat-bed printing?

UV flat-bed printing is a direct digital printing technology that deposits special inks curing instantly under ultraviolet (UV) radiation. This process enables printing on rigid, non-absorbent surfaces that cannot be treated by traditional printing techniques — opening up creative possibilities previously out of reach.

The resolution achieved is photographic — the finest details, gradients and high-definition photographs are reproduced with remarkable fidelity. UV-cured ink bonds firmly to the surface and offers excellent resistance to scratches, chemicals and UV — all without altering the substrate.

Our latest-generation UV flat-bed machine (2024), still brand new, is capable of printing on an extremely wide range of surfaces: wood, MDF, metal, aluminium, glass, acrylic, plexiglass, leather, PVC and many more. From small personalised objects to large decorative panels — a single session handles them all.

Quels supports peut-on imprimer ?

Our UV flat-bed machine is compatible with the vast majority of rigid surfaces: wood and MDF, metal and aluminium, glass and mirror, acrylic and plexiglass, leather, PVC, rigid plastic... The surface must be flat (or slightly textured) and with a thickness compatible with our machine. Contact us with your specifications for confirmation.

Does the result resist outdoor UV exposure?

UV inks offer excellent resistance for indoor use and normal daily use. For prolonged outdoor exposure (weathered signage, panels in full sunlight), we recommend applying aan additional UV protective varnish. Please specify your intended use when requesting a quote so we can guide you to the most suitable solution.

Can you print white on a coloured background?

Yes. Our machine is fitted with an opaque white print head, enabling us to print true white on coloured or transparent surfaces. This opens significant creative possibilities: printing on tinted glass, coloured acrylic, dark metal, black leather... White can also be used as an undercoat to enhance colour vibrancy on absorbent or dark surfaces.

Puis-je fournir mes propres supports ?

Yes. You can supply your own surfaces for UV printing. Ensure the surface is clean, flat and free of dust or grease. Contact us to check dimensional compatibility and receive preparation instruction s before shipping.
