CO₂ LASER CUTTING & ENGRAVING

Laser Engraving

Wood, acrylic, leather, cardboard, MDF, thick textile — 2 large-format CO₂ lasers for cutting, engraving and personalising with absolute precision.

What is industrial engraving?

Industrial engraving covers two main process families: mechanical engraving by rotary cutter or CNC pantograph, which cuts the material to a controlled depth of 0.1 to 1 mm, and chemical engraving by acid or electrolytic etching, used for high-precision applications on anodised stainless steel. Both techniques produce a permanent, indelible, abrasion-resistant recessed marking.

Our CNC equipment guarantees total repeatability, essential for manufacturer plate runs, standardised serial numbers or safety pictograms. Every production run comes with a dimensional inspection report compliant with ISO 9001 requirements.

Regulatory compliance is at the heart of our approach: all our safety signage plates are manufactured to NF ISO 7010 (safety pictograms), manufacturer plates to Machine Directive 2006/42/CE, and serial numbers to your manufacturer or certification specification requirements.

Our work types

2 large-format CO₂ lasers — installed 2024, near-new Machine Directive 2006/42/CE compliant — CE number, model, series, electrical characteristics. 1.4301 stainless or anodised aluminium, thickness 0.5 to 2 mm.
Large working area — formats up to 1,300×900 mm Fire, evacuation, prohibition and obligation pictograms. Standardised colours, standardised sizes A5 to A0. Production with conformity certificate.
Adjustable power — clean cut or gentle engraving depending on material Stainless steel or anodised aluminium, 3M high-performance adhesive. Resistance from -40 °C to +150 °C, UV, industrial oils and solventss. Ideal for asset identification.
Engraved serial numbers — 0.3 mm depth Deep engraving guaranteeing permanence even after painting, sandblasting or surface corrosion. Alphanumeric format, data matrix or barcode as per your coding specification.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about industrial engraving and signage.

Mechanical engraving removes material by abrasion or milling — suited for thick materials (steel, brass) and producing a deep mark with excellent contrast. Laser engraving vaporises the surface without contact or tool wear, ideal for long runs, fine details ands on hard materials. Both are permanent; we recommend the right solution based on your material, run size and depth requirements.
Yes. Our safety plates are manufactured to NF ISO 7010 (pictograms) and NF EN ISO 7010:2012 for dimensions, standardised RAL colours and symbols. Each delivery includes a declaration of conformity. For machine manufacturer plates, we apply Directive 2006/42/CE. On request, we provide sheets for CE certification documentation.
Yes, from a vector file (SVG, AI, EPS) or a high-resolution bitmap image (300 dpi minimum). Our CNC and laser machines reproduce complex outlines, depth gradients and patterns. For company logos on prestige plates (brass, brushed steel), we recommend laser engraving for the finest result. A prooft is submitted for your approval before series launch.
We engrave anodised and raw aluminium, stainless steel 304/316 (1.4301/1.4404), brass, carbon steel, rigid PVC, PMMA and certain hardwoods. For materials not on this list (titanium, copper, composites), contact us for a free feasibility test. Maximum guaranteed depth is 1 mm by milling and 0.8 mm by Nd:YAG laser engraving on metals.
