Collection

From concept to finishing, in-house.

An integrated studio — designers, prototype makers, textile technicians — that designs, manufactures and finishes proprietary brands in a semi-digital workshop. Four brands. One world: the sea.

Our difference
The studio designs what the workshop produces
↗ DA
In-house art direction

Every brand is conceived by in-house designers — visual identity, colour palette, exclusive patterns.

↗ PT
Rapid in-house prototyping

From sketch to wearable prototype in less than a week. Creative iterations stay within the studio.

↗ EN
Finishing without intermediaries

Sublimation, CNC embroidery, direct printing — mastered in our own workshop, never outsourced.

↗ B2B
B2B co-creation capability

Third-party brands access the same studio for their private collections, through Archipel.

The studio

We don't source products. We create brands.

MARKAGENIE Collection was born from a conviction: the textile of tomorrow will not be made by large impersonal machines, nor designed in offices disconnected from production. It will come from studios where creative thinking and technical know-how share the same walls.

Our team includes product designers, art directors, prototype makers and textile technicians. This integrated creative chain allows us to go from a brief to a wearable prototype in a few days — and from prototype to production run in a few weeks.

It is this velocity, combined with a rare consistency of vision, that allows us to build proprietary brands with a strong identity — and to offer the same capability to our B2B partners.

Product design
Textile designers

Shape design, material selection, colour range construction. From the initial sketch to the final tech packs.

Art direction
Art directors

Brand identity, visual storytelling, collection consistency season after season. The world that makes the brand recognisable.

Prototyping
Prototype makers

Prototype manufacturing in our own workshop, cut testing, pattern adjustments. Rapid iteration without subcontractors.

Digital finishing
Finishing technicians

Sublimation, CNC embroidery, DTG printing. The technical mastery that transforms a generic product into a desirable one.

Pattern making
CAD pattern makers

Computer-aided pattern making, grading, optimised cut placement. Digital precision at the service of craftsmanship.

The workshop

Semi-digital

The irreplaceable hand, refined by digital.

The MARKAGENIE Collection workshop brings together in a continuous flow the three major steps of textile manufacturing: precision digital cutting, artisan assembly on industrial machines, and digital finishing. Each step is designed to feed into the next — CAD patterns go directly to the cutting plotter, and cut pieces arrive at the sewing stations already organised by size.

What makes this workshop "semi-digital" is not a marketing label: it is the recognition that certain steps — assembly, quality checking, the hand on the fabric — cannot be delegated to a machine without losing what matters most.

I.
Digital cutting

Cutting plotter or vibrating blade driven by CAD patterns. Perfect reproducibility, zero material waste, automatic grading.

II.
Industrial assembly

Specialist industrial machines per product type — flatlock for swimwear, 5-thread overlock for Breton striped tops, chain stitch for foutas.

III.
Digital finishing

Roller calender sublimation, multi-head CNC embroidery, direct-to-textile printing. The visual signatures that make the brands.

Disruptive technology

Flat seaming by digital robot — what nobody else does at this MOQ.

The most complex link in textile manufacturing is not the cutting, nor the finishing — it is the assembly. Flat seaming (flatseam) of a swimsuit requires precise curved paths to the tenth of a millimetre, constant thread tension, and zero error on body lines. MARKAGENIE Collection has integrated CNC-driven flat seaming — the same technological level as Arena, Speedo or Nike — accessible from 50 pieces.

± 0,1 mm Needle path accuracy on complex curves (armholes, necklines, body seams)
3 500 pts/min Maximum rate in driven flat seaming — 3× the speed of an expert operator
G-code textile CAD patterns generate machine instructions directly — zero re-translation, zero transposition error
100% reproductible Every piece in the run is identical to the first. The size M of the 5,000-piece run is identical to the prototype M
