Can an album cover be reproduced on t-shirts?
Yes, provided you own or hold the rights to the visual. For your own artwork created by you or your graphic designer (with rights assignment), it is perfectly possible. DTG reproduces the details and colours of an album cover with photographic accuracy. For third-party visuals, a commercial licence is required.
Will the colours of my artwork be faithfully reproduced?
DTG is the most colour-accurate textile printing technique available. We work with a calibrated colour profile and send you a digital proof for approval before production. For very specific colours (pantone, corporate colours), mention this in your order for dedicated calibration.
What file format should I use to send artistic artwork?
High-resolution PNG (min 300 dpi), AI (Illustrator), SVG, PSD (Photoshop with layers). Transparency is handled for DTG on dark backgrounds. For fine details or complex gradients, prefer 300 dpi PNG or the original Photoshop file with separate layers.
Are there rights to respect when printing artwork on merch?
You must own or hold commercial exploitation rights to the printed visuals. For your own artwork or photography (or with the photographer's agreement), this is straightforward. For third-party works (illustrator, photographer), a written commercial licence is mandatory. If in doubt, consult a specialist copyright lawyer before launching your production.
